A speck on a speck on a speck.

I’ve been quiet this week. Sorry about that.

Sometimes hibernation is important. In this fortnight’s hibrenation, I’ve managed to (almost) complete 13 of 20 drawings for the Caretaker’s Colouring Book, and have a LOT of thinking time.

I watched the Cosmos documentary, too. This gave my brain fodder to think over (as if it needed more), and by the end of the doco i basically came to the conclusion that we don’t really matter that much.

This is actually a good thing. We are alive for the tiniest fraction of time, on the tiniest fraction of space, and yet we worry so much about what we do, whether it’s good enough, and what other people think of it.

So for me, this means freedom.

(Thank you for reading today’s edition of Zee’s Brain Dribble).

  • Sometimes it’s necessary. I’m so glad that you were able to take time to do what you needed. Your art this week has been as amazing as ever đŸ™‚

I feel so much better for it! I’m going to do more of this next week.

And thank you for the feedback. Sometimes I find it hard to value my own work, so it’s great hearing good stuff from other people! <3

  • Sounds like an interesting doco that I missed. Also sounds like some very productive hibernation.

Oh, I watched it on YouTube lol. And yes, funnily enough it has! Perhaps I should hibernate more often…
